Heartbroken HK Locals Shocked as Massive Inferno Ravages Residential Buildings

Young scholar a local student was among the many residents gathered at the site of a fatal blaze that swept through much of the eight-block Wang Fuk Court in the region's Tai Po area.

No fewer than 36 residents have died in yesterday's devastating fire so far, with numerous still not located, leading to expectations that this number will likely grow.

"We're facing a catastrophe," Thomas commented about the incident, adding that he had seen a deceased person being removed from the area.

"I immediately went inside to collect my things," the senior occupant stated.

She stated that she had been offered no instructions from the government on where to seek assistance.
